Poultry farm construction financed by Samuel Finance

Samuel Finance has strong links with the Agricultural sector. Samuel Finance Director, Greg Samuel, grew up on a poultry farm and is part of a fourth generation farming family. He is now part owner in a beef cattle and large scale Poultry Broiler Farm which he remains heavily involved with.

Greg also started his banking career in Agribusiness Banking in the wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia where he built on his understanding of the issues facing the wine industry, farmers and other agribusinesses.

In days gone by, rural customers would have a long term relationship with their bank manager who understood their business and would make time for them as clients. These days, as banks require more and more profit and productivity from their staff, the relationships and service levels are not what they used to be. What’s more, the turnover of bank staff makes it difficult to establish a relationship with a bank manager.

Engaging a broker that understands agribusiness can help to re-establish the concept of having a long term relationship with a finance professional that understands your business. A broker will represent you and have your best interests at heart, where a bank manager cannot. This helps to ensure you are getting the best possible lending terms for your farm or business.
